scrapper my style

This idea came a long time ago. October 2010 long time ago.

I heard Warren Spector decieded to remove the Scrapper Mickey from Epic Mickey. As with anyone who heard I was disappointed. There was even an online petition to put the Scrapper back in, which eventhough I signed, I guess not enough other people signed too.(there was also another petition on the same site to keep the name change from Rapunzel to Tangled).( I searched for that petition again but I cant fint it) but this link is close [link]
Warren said it was because when they tested it out, surprisingly to them, there was negative response to Scrapper Mickey.
Spector said “People don’t like it when you mess with Mickey. We did a focus test that was really eye-opening for me. There was a biker dude saying, ‘Oh, I’d never play a Mickey Mouse game,’ and then we showed him
images of a changed Mickey. I was sitting there thinking, ‘You’re gonna love what we do,’ but he said, ‘No! Don’t mess with my childhood.’”
That’s how the legend of Scrapper Mickey’s erasing goes.

So to me this meant they were gonna do a game where either you’re a Hero, or your just normal? (I didn’t realize they took the Hero out too (When I finally got the game, I was playing, doing all sorts of nice things and helping people, and wondering “Hey! Why Havent I Changed Yet???(then i remembered)

Anyway I figured maybe the Scrapper that they had designed was too Extreme, especially in looks.
He didn’t capture the immature little prankster that Mickey was, they just made him Evil. Period. And that was the problem.
So I sat there, let my fan-mind ponder and I thought, why don’t they just hit the old school Mickey Mouse Exactly, and just use That simply-forgot-his-manners persona instead of stretching it to a point thats out of character.
And they don’t even really gotta change him so much, don’t need to change his smile and make him frown. He can have more Devious and Slick, and less Malicious look on his face. A prankster jerk (kinda like Mortimer) instead of a villain (like Mortimer).

And I thought since Hero Mickey has a flesh tone face like modern Mickey and yellow gloves, and the Wastelander Mickey has a white face and white gloves, what if (new)Scrapper just has his face and gloves change too. Change his Eyes and Remove his gloves; so he looks like the Galloping Gaucho. [link] (if you took away his shoes he’d be dressed just like Oswald)
So I drew up this idea, and I liked the way it looked, _{then it got lost when my internet died}and now it’s here.
I call my version the Mischief Micker.

I drew what I thought Hero Mickey and Wastelander Mickey were gonna look like too just for comparison.
