Well my childhood is pretty much over come tommorow morning.
So I thought i'd dedicate my final non-adult deviation to a special friend who prettymuch Built my childhood.

You'd expect this to be Spongebob Squarepants, Mickey Mouse, or to the least Winnie the Pooh, but no, it's Barney's memory that outweighs them all.

It's hard to express how much of an influence Barney has had on my life, especially because if I Tried, I could end up going on for days about it.

He was my Spongebob before Spongebob; an escape into a time and place in your young life when life was still safe and profanity and violence werent contstant in daily activity yet.
The whole reason I like Phineas and Ferb is because thier daily adventures remind me of Barney's. The main difference between them is where P&F would build impossible amazing things in a mere montage, Baney would materialise in seconds with the power of imagination.
And despite the only Barney song You probably know is the first verse of I Love You, to this date Barney has more than twice as many original songs in his library than Phineas and Ferb!
When I learned to read credits and discovered Barney was a guy in a suit and a man behind a mic, it never even phased my entusiasm. If anything I only became More fascinated with the power Bob West and David Joyner had of making such an other wise bland and lifeless character believable.
I'd never argue that Mel Blanc is the greatest voice actor of all time, but My personal favorite voice actor will forever be Bob West, for the sheer passion and soul he put into every sentence, lyric and chuckle he's ever let Barney make.
I also should do a shout out to composers David Bernard Wolf and Bob Singleton. My current love of symphonic orchestra originally stemmed from the melodicly rich underscore of every Barney episode or album he's worked on.

It's especially hard to explain why I loved Barney so much because there's a good chance None of you feel the same.
And actually... that's the whole reason.
Barney has left a huge scar on my childhood. But it wasnt His fault.

Everyone and their grandma hates him with every fiber of their being. Barney was the first major sign that I was different from other kids. I lost every friend i had in Kindergarten overnight when everyone discovered Power Rangers. I could never understand it. I could never see what it was that seemed to inspire so many to grab an AK47 and shoot his head off like it's Jurassic Park.

But it was this rejection and isolation that made me realise who i was and where i stood in this world, and I think without this, I would have grown to become Normal and TaRtOoN-Man94 would cease to exist.

I dont know how you feel
But I loved Barney and I dont hate him now.

So thanks for everthing Barney, without you, there would be no me.
